What do you put as bedding in your dogs kennels?

I am just wondering what you put as bedding in your dogs kennel (crate)? We are currently using a big dog bed but its a pain to wash and its starting to fall apart. So we are looking at other things to use in there if you could give us some sugestions that would be great! Thanks!

I'm looking for a dog crate for my Doberman puppy. How big does it need to be?

I’ve been reading that crating would be a good place to keep my pup while I’m at work. I’m not really sure how big it needs to be, though. He’s just a pup now (only 2 months old) but will grow up to be an average sized Doberman (the breed itself is pretty big, though). I’m looking for a crate to keep him in during the day while I work. I heard that dogs use the Crate as their den (Apparently, they are animals who are looking for "dens" to inhabit). Since this crate sounds like it will be the dog’s "clubhouse" and I will have blankets and toys in there for him, should he have room for him to run around as a puppy and just enough room to sleep as an adult dog? How big would that need to be?

How would you go about starting your own dog kennel?

A retriever kennel to be exact. I know I’d have to have land, ponds, kennels, etc. But i know you cant just build everything and expect to have a million people and dogs show you. And are their any major requirements? If you own a kennel I would appreciate some advice!

Dog Training – Great first lesson for 2 small dogs

www.sitmeanssit.com In this daily dog training video, we see a great transition in both the owner, and the 2 little dogs that she owns and loves that is going to make her life much easier. She learned how to confidently handle the Sit Means Sit remote dog training collar pretty well for her first lesson, and should have her dogs off leash around distraction in no time! She also saw very clearly that she could give the dogs all the commands she wanted previously, but until we have the dogs attention, most words are pretty meaningless. Didn’t matter though, as we were able to fix alot of that pretty much on the first lesson. 2 small dogs on first lesson, and 1 happy owner!

Whether to build or buy dog kennels(pens)?

I am trying to figure out where to buy dog kennels(pens, runs) or to build one for each of my dogs. I have 8 dogs and they will only be 2 in each kennel. Is it cheaper to buy dog kennels or to build them? If we build what to use? I have 8 APBTs

Surprise Party – Clicker Training: helping the reactive dog

www.pamsdogacademy.com Does your dog react to people, dogs, cats, or things by barking, lunging, or growling at them? Well, this game can help keep your dog from reacting and it will help build a positive association to all those scary, awful things that your dog is either unsure of or does not like. This game will help change the emotional response and how your dog feels about those things. Your dog say, “Hmmmm yummy treats appear every time a scary dog does, cool; I hope more dogs show up.” Have a wonderful day and if you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
